Brilliant. My parcel arrived so very quickly even after I was sent the wrong product in the first instance.
The Tiger Tribe “How to Paint with Watercolour” kit is so beautifully packaged. The “How to” booklet contained within the kit is so helpful and easy to follow for children of all ages. My two daughters, aged 9 and 12, had so much fun learning and painting along with the step by step instructions. The watercolour paints are good quality, beautiful colours and the girls loved the “fill with water” brush included in the kit. I am a professional watercolour illustrator and thoroughly enjoyed painting along and learning new techniques from this kit. It was a lovely exercise for us all to do together. - Max Hamilton - Children’s Book Illustrator, Designer and Watercolour Artist
Tiger Tribe’s watercolour set is at first look, very cute. Personally I like the colours and box art on it, the packaging feels strong and sturdy and makes me think of quality. When you hold it in your hands, this feels like something you would give as a gift. The watercolour paint itself looks initially very similar to a lot of other cake paint, BUT I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The pack gives you a wide variety of colours which are bright with a thick pigment and for the price point blends quite well. The Paper is actual Watercolour paper which is great! It’s a nice mid range paper which doesn’t bleed or have any nasty coatings that hold the paint. Excellent to start with and thankfully there are quite a few pages in the kit. The Kit also comes with a little instruction booklet which was very handy. It's written simply and fairly easy to follow. It's aimed at kids but to be fair a lot of the tips and lessons would be very helpful to anyone starting out in watercolour. While the water brush is not my personal preference, it is more than adequate for the task and will work for anyone starting out as a beginner. Maybe as the student progresses however they might like to think about buying themselves a proper watercolour brush. Over all I can say it was refreshing how much I liked the whole kit. The products within this kit are not professional watercolour supplies, BUT they are very good value for the price point. They all work together extremely well and would be an excellent start point for anyone (children or adults) starting out on their watercolour journey. I would happily recommend this kit and I hope the Tiger Tribe How To Watercolour Kit brings the joy of painting into your life! Sunshine - Children’s Book illustrator and Artist
Tiger Tribe’s watercolour set is gorgeously designed. The box is handy to cart around and comes with all the essentials to start painting on the go. Just tip some water into the brush from your water bottle and you’re set. The colours are vibrant and work well with the paper provided. It’s a great beginners set and I would recommend this for any young artist wanting to experiment with watercolours. The unique selling point with this product is the gorgeously illustrated instruction manual which is a great learning tool for the young artist. I personally love how watercolours playfully mingle on the page together with a little help from you and your brush. Tiger Tribe’s creatively fun, nature-inspired How to Paint - Watercolour set, teaches and guides you (the upcoming watercolour artist). This beautifully presented kit provides step-by-step exploring and experimenting, with some of the fabulous techniques watercolour offers. A fun and playful painting activity set for kids. ~ Sheryl Cole, Watercolour Illustrator and Artist
A beautifully presented set of watercolours with vibrant colours that will delight young aspiring artists. The water brush is a fun and less messy way to explore painting for the first time and great for painting outdoors. The step by step lessons are the perfect way to spark the imagination and the painter will soon be exploring their own ideas.
