Product Recall: Beat the Clock

We have recently become aware that our Beat The Clock Stopwatch Set is not compliant with current Australian button battery regulations. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our customers and we acknowledge the important role safety regulations play in our industry. We are therefore conducting a product recall on this item.

This item contains a button battery inside the stopwatch. Our safety warnings on the item indicate the batteries are non-replaceable - however due to a manufacturing error the stopwatches are fitted with 6x removable screws which makes the item non-compliant. If the battery compartment is opened and a button battery is swallowed there is serious risk to health. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately if swallowed.
